I fell in love with love while growing up under the epic love story of my grandparents – surviving WWII on a Mediterranean island, living in caves to avoid bombings, a stack of hidden love letters, and separate three-month-long boat journeys across the world to find each other. Yeah, epic love story sums it up!
I always loved the craft of finding the perfect combination of words to enchant and inspire, so I obtained a Bachelor of Communications. After a few years in the communications field, I pivoted my career and spent much of my 20s wielding the microphone, guiding coach-loads of tourists across 60+ countries.
Whether it's curating once-in-a-lifetime moments or running a tight ship, I flourished as a guide, honing my skills in public speaking and creating unforgettable experiences. I love that I can now apply this passion to crafting your personalized wedding ceremony.
But in 2019, I found my true calling in the wedding industry here in the Sea to Sky, where I’ve worked as a wedding venue manager and planner. I bring all that insider knowledge and logistical expertise to my role as a Squamish wedding celebrant.
True to Squamish core, I enjoy hiking, backcountry camping, and climbing with friends, and I also run a social improv club (I can throw down in a game of Fishbowl). Above all, I cherish time with my incredible partner, Virgile, who never fails to make me burst out in laughter and has brought so much richness to my life.
I like to take a modern approach - You will NEVER catch me using the words like ‘obey’ or ‘to honor and serve.’
I’m all about bringing the warmth, love, and authenticity. And, if you go with a custom ceremony, a whole lot of fun and individualism!

Certifications
I hold a Bachelor of Communications and am a Certified Lifecycle Celebrant™ with the esteemed Celebrant Foundation and Institute, specializing in creating meaningful ceremonies. Being authorized by the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry means I can customize my ceremonies in modern and fun ways.
Sea to Sky Officiant is authorized to solemnize happy marriages in British Columbia. Please enquire for other Canadian provinces.
