Hey there! I’m Jude, a Squamish-based Wedding Celebrant.
I fell in love with love while growing up under the epic love story of my grandparents - Surviving WW2 on a Mediterranean island, living in caves for years to avoid the constant bombings, a stack of hidden love letters, and separate 3-month long boat journeys around the world to find each other. Yeah, epic love story sums it up!
I always loved the craft of finding the perfect combination of words to enchant and inspire, so I obtained a Bachelor of Communications. After a few years of working in communications, I pivoted my career, spending most of my 20s wielding the microphone around Europe, taking coach-fulls of tourists around 60+ countries before settling into the wedding industry in the Sea to Sky in 2019.
True to ‘Squamish core’, I love hiking, camping in the backcountry, climbing with my buddies, run a social improv club, and I play a mean game of fishbowl. also love quality time with my partner, Virgile, who is everything I never expected. He makes every day feel more adventurous and has gifted me with the fullest heart.

Rev. Jude Douglass is a certified Lifecycle Celebrant™ with the esteemed Celebrant Foundation and Institute where she underwent thorough training to become a ceremony specialist. Ordained with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry, Sea to Sky Officiant is authorized to solemnize happy marriages in BC. Please enquire for other Canadian provinces.
She also holds a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Sydney.
